Vic Majors demolish NSW
VICTORIA’S Major league team enjoyed a stellar start to day two of the Australia Country Football Championships in Canberra.
Vic Major kicked off their morning with a 44-point demolition of NSW, then backed it up with any impressive 36-point win from hand to hand Queensland.

In their first couple, the Vics had to deal with slippery conditions caused through the melting of the morning's frozen dew.
The Vics led 2.3 (15) to NSW 1.0 (6) at the break.
Coach Peter Knights reminded his charges of more football fundamentals.
"There's no substitute because of watching the ball into your hands," Knights said.
"Earn it before you spend it, particularly with the dew and the high straits."
Knights urged his forwards to stand up and be counted.
"We picked specialist forwards in the team, and the game's about kicking goals.
"We must uphold our positivity and our attacking."
The Vics responded to Knight's challenge, posting six goals in the second half, including two to Golden Square superboot Grant Weeks and two to Echuca's Kristan Height.
Height finished with three for the match and was named in Victoria's most excellent alongside backmen Xavier Moloney (Swan Hill) and Andrew McLean (St Marys).
Final scores were Vic Major 8.3 (51) to NSW 1.1 (7).
After a short break, Vic Major took the field once more for its clash with Queensland.
The Sunshine State team started violently, booting the first goal of the match in the opening minute.
But it was to be Queensland's only debt for the game.
Rochester's Guy Campbell was a general for the Vics across half back, and was well supported by Moloney and McLean.
Behinds to Weeks and Donald's Travis Baird prevented Victoria from running away with the match in the first moiety, but goals to Redan's Isaac Smith and North Albury's Dan Leslie meant the Vics went into the break with a one-goal buffer.
Knights was disappointed with his team'session inability to push the ball effectively into the forward-50.
"Up until the end of the half we just couldnt get it in in that place," he said.
"I don't want to see any lateral movement on our half-forward line. I want it straight down the corridor into the hot spot."
Once again, the Vics responded to Knights call, with the ball delivered quickly and efficiently into the forward line in the yield to by half.
Weeks got his kicking boots upon, nailing four for the half, including two forward the run.
Final scores were Vic Major 6.6 (42) to Queensland 1.0 (6).
In other matches, South Australia upset championship favourites the ACT by five points at Queanbeyan, space of time Vic District went into disgrace to Western Australia by three points.
Vic Major has one more companion against Western Australia face to face through a rest day.
Vic District devise take on South Australia in its eventual preliminary round match.
